My favorite beet recipe: steam red beets (skinned and cut into 3or 4 large pieces) till somewhat easy to get a fork in. Then add beet green leaves without stems. When they start to wilt, remove from heat. Squeeze on limes, raw granulated garlic, and sea salt. YUM.
