Too Much Sitting
Too much sitting makes your liver unhealthy and fat. Even if you are thin a sedentary life style robs years off your life.
I struggle with this myself, writing books and seeing patients. Even if I work out regularly and dance, with too much sitting my fitness wans.
A large, cross-sectional Korean study (140,000 people) from the 180,000 Samsung Health Study has linked prolonged SITTING and decreased physical activity with nonalcoholic FATTY LIVER disease (NAFLD)… “even in physically active people of normal weight.”
This is yet more mounting evidence of the importance of reducing sedentary time and increasing physical activity to prevent chronic illnesses and premature death.
